Where does your food come from?

This question is at the heart of The Westerly Land Trust’s annual Farm Dinner, at the time, in its 10th year. The fundraising event, the nonprofit’s largest, was founded with the goal of helping the public reconnect with the land, their food and local farmers.

However, 2020 brought its own set of challenges, which forced The Westerly Land Trust to “reimagine” what the farm dinner could be without compromising its objective. We were asked to create a film component that would weave local farmers’ stories with that of land conservation and legacy, which would premiere while guests were enjoying their farm dinners from the comfort of their homes.
